Hey Choir!

Here are some things that you need to take note for Thurs and Fri's rehearsal and performance...

 Thursday:

 Please CHANGE INTO YOUR GOWNS and put on light MAKEUP and report to the AVA room by 3.30pm.

 Make sure your hair is neat and tidy as well.

*There will be a snack provided :)


Friday:

 Report to the AVA room at 4pm SHARP, with your gown and makeup on.

Dinner will be provided.


Things to bring for both days:

- Choir gown

- Court shoes

- Make up (Makeup includes: foundation, blush and lipstick)

- Hair accessories: Hair gel, Hair pins/ clips


Don't forget to revise your scores and remember what to do on that day!!!

Hello Choir!! :D

Here are the things you have to take note of for the SYF performance :)

Makeup
-foundation
-blusher
-blood-red lipstick

Hair
-neatly tied up into a high ponytail with a black hairtie. For those with short hair, you need not tie your hair.
-fringe pinned up
-all stray strands of hair pinned up too
-ribbons

Shoes
-white court shoes, heels should be 1-2 inches high.
-shoes should have a rounded tip.
-note that shoes should be purely white with no patterns on it whatsoever.

Gown
-no bra straps should be seen
-gown should be of the appropriate length, only the tip of your court shoes should be seen.

Extra things you may need:

-hair pins/hair clips (as many as you need)

-gel/hairspray

-insoles for court shoes

-comb (no finger combs please!!)

-plasters

*Please be reminded that there will be gown check during choir tomorrow, so please remember to bring your gown+court shoes! Also, for those who won't be going for choir tomorrow and cannot make it for the gown check, you would have to check the length of gowns on your own at home.

After we have checked your gowns and we tell you to alter the length of your gowns, PLEASSE DO SO. If we find out on SYF day that your gowns are of an inappropriate length, you will be heavily fined. :) The fine applies to everyone, including those who cannot make it for gown check.

Those of you who have misplaced your ribbons >:( , you can start buying new ones from me next week.  For $2.

CCA fair

Hello everyone! Happy New Year!

As mentioned yesterday, all of you MUST make 8(or more) paper fortune cookies for the upcoming CCA fair on 5 Jan (saturday) from 8am-12.30pm. 
Please bring them this Thursday (3/1) for quality check.
Below is the video tutorial on how to make paper fortune cookies and some important additional info. Please refer closely to the video as well as the add. info to ensure the quality of your work.

Additional instructions:

- To get the basic circular paper, outline a CD on a NICE paper(coloured or gift wrapping paper), make sure the paper is reasonably thick. Cut out the circle.

- Make sure to double sided tape every necessary part firmly!!!

- Stick your fingers into the two little 'pockets' to pop them out and to make them look nicer!

- Instead of using ribbons, cut out a little strip(~6cm) of your nice paper and write down another fortune. Still stick it into one of the pockets as shown in the video. Make sure the words are clear.

eg.  -Join SN Choir! We create the dream.

       -You love to sing, Join SN Choir!

       -SN Choir will be your choice.

       etc etc.
